FACTS. - Police seized cocaine and $9,199 from Goodsons possession. Goodson assigned the $9,199 to Leedy in payment for legal fees. Goodson was charged with possession and pleaded guilty to a reduced charge. He was thereafter charged with selling cocaine. In bargaining on the sale charge, the prosecutor stipulated to release of the seized funds, thinking that they were only $60-$80.
