PROCEEDINGS. - Kotz was charged with theft and tried by jury. After 4 hours of deliberation, the jury informed the Judge that
it had reached an impasse. The Judge then gave a supplemental instruction urging the jury to reach a verdict. Defense counsel
did not object to the urging, but expressed reservations. RESULT. - Affirmed. Per Garff; Bench & Jackson concur.
